About Alaska Safe Riders

Welcome to Alaska Safe Riders – your guide to safe, responsible, and enjoyable off-highway vehicle operation. Formed in 2021, our goal is to enhance the riding experience in the majestic landscape of Alaska through comprehensive safety education. Our team, composed of Iron Dog and Iditarod race champions, educators, and business professionals, is dedicated to ensuring everyone has access to quality education programs that provide the skills and knowledge required to safely operate snowmachines, ATVs, and side-by-sides, among other off-highway vehicles.

We offer free community snowmachine safety seminars covering backcountry safety and provide helmets to those in need.  Companies needing certification training for employees can contract our services to meet OSHA compliance standards.  We also teach a variety of backcountry snowmachine field classes for beginner to advanced riders.  Our ATV and ROV classes are done through a nationally certified program.

We believe in the value of public lands and seek to impart a deep respect for our environment and wildlife within our community. Whether you are a seasoned rider or a novice exploring the thrill of the ride, Alaska Safe Riders aims to provide you with the resources and training necessary to explore responsibly and safely.
